Take a break from heated campaign battles, and join us for an evening of music and policy hosted by Growth & Justice president Dane Smith and The Theater of Public Policy co-founder and executive producer Tane Danger.
Dane and Tane will visit the intersection where musical inspiration and policy platforms meet. Featuring live and recorded music, karaoke, a sing-along, this evening will leave you with a song in your heart and policy on the brain.
With performances by:
Peggy Flanagan, Director of External Affairs at Wellstone Action, the country’s largest progressive training center. Peggy also serves as adjunct faculty for the George Washington University Native American Political Leadership Program. She was elected to the Minneapolis School Board at age 24 and was the first Native American and the youngest individual to serve on that body.
Jim Harkness, president of the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy. Prior to joining IATP in 2006, Harkness was the executive director of the World Wildlife Fund in China, and a program officer for the Ford Foundation in China.
