The Climate Change Whisperer

Paul Douglas, Longtime Meteorologist

Most Minnesotans know Paul Douglas from his years presenting the weather on KARE 11, WCCO, and TPT as well as writing the weather column for the Star Tribune. As an evangelical Christian who recognizes the threats of climate change, Douglas often finds himself serving as a bridge between communities that don’t often talk to one another. We will ask Douglas about his work discussing Climate Change with conservative and evangelical audiences. We’ll ask him what Climate Change might mean for Minnesota. And if that all gets too tense, we’ll just ask about the weather.

TICKETS: $12 IN ADVANCE, OR AT THE DOOR WITH A FRINGE BUTTON · $15 AT THE DOOR WITH NO DISCOUNT.

Doors at 6:00pm, Show at 7:00pm

What is the show?

Our interview based show is a powerful medium for exploring issues and bringing them to life using theater. All of the ideas and challenges brought up in this conversation serve as the inspiration for the improvised scenes to follow. The improvisers tasks are not to make light of the issues or mock the players involved. Instead, scenes make the previous conversation come to life with living, breathing characters in the situations described. It’s a show unlike any other.
