The performing art of drag has seen a recent boom in popularity due in part to hit reality TV show, “RuPaul’s Drag Race”. We will talk with two drag artists who are based in the Twin Cities about what is it like to be based and perform in the Midwest and how does community play a role in their lives. Tane Danger and Brandon Boat have been producing shows with the Theater of Public Policy for almost 8 years and now they’re handing the keys over to the cast. Each Cast Take Over show is lead by one of our performers. They choose the topic, they develop the structure, and a brand new show is born.
