Why do mistruths get so much traction online? Science writer Maggie Koerth has written extensively about conspiracy theories and why it’s hard to change someone’s mind who believes one. Catharine Richert is part of a new project at Minnesota Public Radio dedicated to combating disinformation in 2020. We’ll ask them all about #FakeNews and fighting it in 2020, as well as whether the Pope has endorsed anyone in this year’s election yet.
